Makeup Mondays Featuring The Casual MUA : Vampy Lips

I told you guys having Nessa guest post was no one hitter quitter and I meant that. I'm having her move in as the resident make-up specialist here to share goodies with you all (and myself, since make-up is where I struggle the most). So I reintroduce to you all, Vanessa, "The Casual Mua" here with another informative post with a quick tutorial on sexy, vampy lips that are perfect for the fall. Enjoy!

Fall is here! Gone are the days of summer and beaches. In are the days of layering, stunning fashion and bold lips.
Now I am not one to follow season fashion trends for two main reasons 1: I live in Miami so there are no seasons. It's just hot and then hotter. And 2: I do what I want! :)  However, I have discovered a simple and easy way to do a bold, vampy lip that is popular for fall. I will show you how I achieve a deep purple fall lip in under 5 minutes.

You will need lip balm, lip liner, lipstick, concealer and a finishing powder.

Lip balm: EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in sweet mint
Lip liner: NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu
Lip stick: MAC Lipstick in Cyber
Concealer: MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 in NW 45
Finishing powder: MAC Mineralized skin finish natural in Dark Deep

Cool, Calm, Casual

I love this jacket, the different textures gives a look of layering without all the hot ass clothes. Cheating the system for the win. 

What a better way to return from an unplanned hiatus from inconsistent posting than to take an autumn frolic on a beautiful afternoon. Nothing like your favorite season to bring you out of funk.  The air was crisp and the trees were in quite the mood to put on a show for us, so Antares and I took full advantage.

                            

 This is my first post of a more casual look, and often when I'm casual I toe the masculine line, especially in the cooler months.  So enjoy the boyish flicks, bare face and all, and I hope you love the trees as much as I do. Oh, and I promise to thread my eyebrows before my New Orleans photo diary next week ;) .
